Tell The Youth The Truth

My roots I will never forget, I will always remember the road I travel for More than 35 Years.

I man would like to say respect to Heartbeat Records for donating $1000.00 to the St. Ann's Bay Infirmary.

On August 12, 2006 I Man will be singing for Justice and Peace. I will sing for the young man who sits in the corner by the walls of the infirmary. He cannot walk or talk and know no mother or father.

I man will sing for my friend who shout out my name Rebe, short for Creation Rebel. Look where I end up.

So much time have wasted on foolish idea now its time for I Man to focus on Jah plans. Just as the Dove appear to I man on that bright morning January 1, 2006 while I bathe in Jah ocean on reggae beach.

The creator will surround all 700 of His chosen people on August 12. No, weak Heart cannot enter. We will all sip from the musical cup of Peace.

I stand strong and free. No more hide and seek, no more hot bread and butter. I Spear not coming for your supper. I open I man heart to all of my fans by opening my secret place to you.

It is good when a man or woman can think for themselves. Wise man mouth is always close. Only the fools speak too much.

They can't catch I man. I appreciate the words my mother say to me: "Son be careful, think before you move." The creator Bless and keep all mothers.

Mothers tell the youth the truth. Yes big, big, big embarrassment. Son I am not your father but your mother his your mother. Daughter I am not your father but your mother is your mother.

He who know the right and do it not shall be spank with many stripe. Yes mother, tell the youth the truth.

Music is what I have and music is what I will give. This is the concert I man have being praying for. The horns and drums will combine with the wave of the sea to create music of harmony.

I will beat my congas and send a message to all the People Of The World. The congas will say "have no fear I Burning Spear is here." Look I man in the eyes and don't you cry. Shout it out loud and clear and have no fear as I take you on a musical ride. Don't talk about Miami or Toronto, Canada. The Big Apple or Manhattan. Lets rock in time on Garvey lawn with Mr. Music.

I Spear love like every other man. Yes Spear love sweet, sweet love. So come roots and rock reggae with I man. Tell me what love can do to you. People can you tickle my soul. Are you going to allow I man to grow too old before you tickle I man soul? What more can I do to say thank you to all my fans for all these year of support?

To photo lady: thank you for your kind words. Yes my sister, I man is on a journey, we will all meet at the bank of the beautiful river right over there. Your prayer have kept I man strong. It's not easy to be Burning Spear. They can't hurt I man with their Babylon system. I am protected by all of you who know I man. Only the Fittest Of the Fittest can survive.

This wood is dry but still heavy. I am the original Creation Rebel. So when the Sun goes down I will call on all of you. Are you ready?

There will be no need for VIP pass, since all 700 strong will be VIP. No, wolf in sheep clothing will not be there also. No, reggae hustler will not be welcome.

No, Rascal will not be allowed to enter Jah Holy lawn. I am here to sing Our Music. Yes, I man cannot refuse it so you should never never point your finger at the old Rastaman or never you talk too much. Lets try again because mistake carry no face.

Are you my friend neighbor or enemy, who are you? We can show the world that we can live together. In Africa they use to chain us together. Yes we can be happy again and feel happy again. With music that set the mind at peace. Hold them little Garvey hold them, show them that we can get tough. Walk your walk to the record store for a copy of Our Music and let the lyric set your mind at peace so when we meet again you can sing along with I man.

Some people want to surround I to bring I man down, but little did they know I will never give up my throne.

Jah Bless, One Love, Keep the Spear Burning. Tell the youth the truth.
Peace.
