I man vision come through to hold my brothers hand in my hands. I cannot shake this feeling I have inside of me. The music we play together keep ringing in I man ears.
Each time I play the music to work on the lyric I can just see Bootsy and his wife entering the studio dancing to People in High Place. We all dance, and sing. Such a wonderful feeling, Yes Jah feeling. And Bernie play the keyboard with such sweet melody giving I man music his all from the Heart. Oh how lucky I was to meet my brothers and have the wonderful opportunity to play music together. One family.
Unity is strength and we all must come together as one players of instrument. This is our music and we must fight to protect it. I man have fight many battle to protect this music and I will never sell out. So we rise up from this little Island where reggae music spring from. Just like Malcolm X and Martin Luther King and the honorary Marcus Garvey we are all messenger of His Majesty. I and I come to do a work. And no power can stop this work. For this is the reason Jah provide a way for I and I to survive.
A lot of people in music high place cannot believe I Burning Spear is still around and I never ask them for a loan. They ask what the strength of Burning Spear is. I man answer the strength of Burning Spear comes from the Creator. I am the people choice. No force stronger than the people. I man music is here to united people of the world.
I am the Africa postman here to deliver the telegram to all the sons and daughters of Creation. Music is what I man has so music is what I give. This is why they call I man the Creation Rebel.
Life is a journey and I am traveling through creation with the protection of those that gone before me. If I man was to look back on what I man lost then I would not be able to move forward. I man fans are my family they have work beside I Burning Spear with such energy. I cannot call them fans. I must say family.
